I started a new novel. About a week ago, give or take. It's sitting at about 7,000 words now, a prologue and three chapters.
It seemed appropriate to start up a new blog aside. I probably won't mention the novel a lot - I don't really like to talk about them while I'm writing them. But there's more than one reason for a new blog. I've got a new lifestyle now. My old blog - Penn Station - had some good times, but it was a different stage of my life, I guess you could say. Now I've begun a new stage as a student.
Also, I'm like super into the colour orange now, ha ha.
So what's different from the old blog? Well...
I was living in Melboune, then Albury. Now I live in Hobart, Tasmania. Why? Because it's the only state with "-mania" in the name.
I'm living here because I go to Uni here, now. It's kind of funny, really - last year in October I realised I'd been to every state in the country except for Tasmania, so I decided I would go to Tasmania for a holiday to get them all in the bag. While I was here I saw the Uni, and later in the year when I decided I wanted to go to Uni, I thought of it here, and, well, one thing led to another!
So studying takes up a large portion of my life now. The rest of it? Pretending to study.
Ha.
